Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully and ensure your understanding before booking. References to “us”, “we”, “our”, “Pure Traveller” and/or “Pure Traveller” in these booking terms and conditions shall mean Pure Traveller Pty Ltd ABN 27 158 560 206.


Legal Contract

When you click to make a booking with us, Pure Traveller, legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms and policies and by the conditions of the particular supplier. You must not make any booking through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and policies. Once payment is made for the booking, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for the booking. If you have any queries please contact us before making any booking for any service.



Pure Traveller will not be liable for any accident, injury, delay, property damage or personal loss to you or those travelling with you in connection with any booking, transportation, or other travel service resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrence or conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, act of God, defects in vehicles, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster, Government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule. Whilst care is taken by Pure Traveller to ensure the description of all travel, facilities and services is accurate, these may be changed, upgraded, and on occasion taken out of service.  Pure Traveller cannot be held liable for omissions or errors, whether temporary or permanent to any facilities and services provided by 3rd parties.

All prices are displayed in accordance with ACCC guidelines and subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. Prices quoted are subject to change and only guaranteed when paid in full. Price changes may occur due to increases in the cost of the product or service include currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare charges. 


Refunds, Changes and Cancellation Fee

Changes to bookings already paid in full may incur additional costs. These costs are your responsibility and Pure Traveller will not be responsible for any such costs.

Cancelled bookings will incur charges up to 100% of the cost which you are liable for so travel insurance is advisable.

Fees and extra charges will apply where a booking is changed, tickets or documents are reissued.  If for any reason any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against that provider, and not against Pure Traveller Pty Ltd. In the event that payment has been made to Pure Traveller Pty Ltd by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to Pure Traveller Pty Ltd. Pure Traveller will assist you in advising the Operator(s) of any claim, and refunds will only be issued once Pure Traveller has received the refund amounts from the Operator(s). Airlines can take approx. 6 – 8 weeks to issue refunds and we will pass on refunds as soon as we receive them from 3rd parties.

Ticket reissuance: If changes are made to your tickets, airline reissue fee’s apply plus an additional $40 Pure Traveller’s Administration service fee.
Ticket cancellation: If a cancellation is made to your ticket, airline cancellation fee’s do apply plus an additional $40 Pure Traveller’s Administration service fee.


Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance is strongly recommended for all travellers and are happy to provide a quote at your request.



Pure Traveller acts as an agent only. We sell various travel related products on behalf of numerous transport, accommodation and service providers. Our obligation is to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We do not make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made on your behalf subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider and not Pure Traveller.



We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control and which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.


Passports, Visas, Tax, Health and Travel advice

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. If you need information regarding visa and other travel document requirements for your trip please let us know as we can obtain such information from an external visa advisory service provider on your behalf. We do not warrant the accuracy of such information and accept no liability for any loss or damage which you may suffer in reliance on it. If you wish, we can obtain visas for you through this external service and fees will apply. If you are travelling to the United States please see https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov for information regarding compulsory pre-registration for their visa waiver program. Please note, you may not meet the requirements of ESTA and may be required to obtain a visa.

Australian departure tax is recorded on your ticket as being paid. All quoted taxes are subject to change until tickets are issued. However, there are still some countries where taxes are paid upon departure / arrival from/to the airport. We strongly recommend you visit and register your travel with www.smartraveller.gov.au

You must ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel and ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. Please check with your local doctor or specialist vaccination clinic


Travel Documents

Travel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including (without limitation) being non-refundable, non-date-changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. Travel documents cannot be transferred to another person to use.

All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder as an incorrect name on a booking may result in an inability to use that booking and the booking being cancelled. PLEASE ADVISE US IMMEDIATELY of any errors in names.  In the case of an air ticket needing to be reissued at a later date due to a name correction, you will be liable for any fee or price change incurred.  Errors in names, dates and timings on your documentation will be your responsibility if not advised at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to collect all travel documents from us prior to travel. Please contact your consultant to confirm when your travel documents are ready for collection.


Schedule Changes

The airlines have the right to reschedule or cancel flights at ANY time. The airline accepts no responsibility in accommodating any changes made that don’t suit you. We will do our utmost to rebook you on the closest flight time or date available, subject to seat availability. Pure Traveller will not accept responsibility should changes occur as these are beyond our control.


Governing Law

If any dispute arises in relation to the agreement between you and us, the laws of Australia will apply. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia, and waive any right that you may have to object to an action being brought in those courts.



The services sold through Pure Traveller are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice. Access to this site and any site normally linked to this site is not guaranteed and is subject to availability of communications links and access rights. Pure Traveller reserves the right to deny password login on this site to any person or password holder.


Customer Profile

You have the option to complete a customer profile when joining Pure Traveller. Please be aware that the profile applies to the password holder but will also extend to any other persons on the same booking. If other individuals travelling on your booking require different particulars, you will need to contact us. Please note that the Customer Profile does not guarantee that the matters selected in your profile will be available to you. We will endeavour to accommodate your requests but cannot guarantee availability. If you have any queries or if any matter specified is important to you, please contact us. Please also be aware that your profile current at the time of a booking will be used for booking details. This means that you must check that your profile is up to date before making a booking. If amendments are needed at any time, you must make the amendments before making a booking.


Passengers Name/s

It is essential that you enter details of each traveller correctly and according to passport or other identification. Some suppliers will deny carriage if the traveller’s name varies from your booking and may cancel automatically if the traveller’s name is amended. Pure Traveller has no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from incorrect entry of traveller’s name any inability to travel as a result of carrier’s policies.


Air Fares…Special Conditions

There are numerous rules and regulations affecting most advance purchase and other discounted air fares, which involve substantial cancellation or amendment fees, and in some instances there are no refunds whatsoever on cancelled holidays and or air tickets should you need to amend or cancel your travel plans. If you have any queries regarding these fees please do not hesitate to contact our office. You must read the Rules and check the conditions applicable to every airfare and ensure that you accept those Rules and conditions before you make a booking. If the Rules and conditions are not displayed you should contact our office. Once you confirm a booking and make payment you are bound by the Rules and conditions applicable to the relevant supplier.

Price Inclusions and Exclusions

Items included in the prices or rates of the products are specified in each section. Prices do not include, meals other than as stated in itineraries, any air fares unless stated, Government departure taxes, passport and visa charges, vaccination fees, airport taxes, any items of a personal nature such as telephone calls, beverages, laundry, excess baggage charges and gratuities, travel insurance or other items not specified.


Photo ID

All airlines require the production of Photo ID when checking in with an e-ticket. Your ID must match with the name of the passenger on the ticket.
