Scott started travelling with his parents, Bruce and Lyn, as a toddler — and he hasn’t stopped since. Scott has travelled to more than 40 countries, including 5 weeks in USA (2018) and is planning a month-long family ski trip to Canada for 2020.
Bruce is a retired general nurse and nurse educator who has also served in the Army Reserve as a Nursing Officer. Bruce’s love of travel has taken him all over the world with wife Lyn as well as many trips with friends, family and community groups.
Lyn is a retired head teacher of 43 years and an avid traveller. Lyn has led tours for Johnny H Adventures. Venice (for the shopping!) is her top travel stop. When she’s not globetrotting, you’ll find Lyn doing embroidery and fundraising for the CWA.
Travel is a lifelong hobby for Hayley who has clocked up more than 30 countries to date. A major highlight was her 10-year wedding anniversary, when Hayley and hubby Ben took their kids to Banff, Canada where they met 16 years prior. Hayley is all about fun with the fam bam and friends.
Born in Tokyo, Mai has called Australia home for the past 10 years. When she’s not flying back to Japan to visit her family, tropical islands are Mai’s destination of choice, namely Bali and Cebu Island. Mai has two gorgeous girls and surfing on the Gold Coast is her happy place.
A career in journalism has taken Janelle to more than 30 countries — her highlights include Russia to China on the Tran-Siberian Railway and traipsing through the Amazon Jungle in Ecuador. These days kids keep her adventures closer to home, most recently North Straddie and Fiji.
